Druids of the Necronomicon | Magickal Legacy of Elves, Dragons, Faerie...
"People are often surprised when they meet me to find that I am “Elven” in nature and also very “Druidic,” hardly the “scary gothic” stereotype that my profile often fits. The emphasis of my most recent works and even the title “Mardukite” would appear to some to classify the tradition as yet another “2012 Heaven’s Gate” cult based on people who probably had read just a little too much Zecharia Sitchin for one lifetime or an occult brand of pseudo-Scientology – this is, of course, far from the case (and I surprisingly had never read anything by Sitchin at the time the “Book of Elven-Faerie” was being written – my investigation into that author’s entire library came much later, almost necessary, during the founding of Mardukite Ministries). In fact, those who knew me and are familiar with my debuts as “Merlyn Stone” in the 1990’s are aware that Druidry has always been my emphasis, although I have never restricted myself to a purely “Celtic paradigm” or “Irish framework” from which to base my “Druidic Reality”."

~excerpted from the preface by Joshua Free to “Druids of the Necronomicon” being released as limited edition numbered hardcovers from the Truth Seeker Press on July 1, 2010.

“While “Druids of the Necronomicon” was intended as a standalone book, it was also prepared specifically for the Year 2 Mardukite Chamberlains Curriculum & Research program and thereby prompts the reader to have familiarity with the Mardukite Necronomicon Cycle (currently divided between two other volumes: “Necronomicon – The Anunnaki Bible” and “Gates of the Necronomicon: Establishing Your Relationship with the Anunnaki Gods.”) that was begun in 2009 with the release of the “Necronomicon Hardcover” (a commemorative realization of our privately released “Lapis Editions,” the very first Year 1 Mardukite installment). In addition to containing the millionth rewrite of the “Book of Elven-Faerie,” the current tome also draws upon the wisdom of “Arcanum” and the underground “Merlyn Stone” works, as well as the relevant corrections toward understanding the mysteries (as uncovered by the Chamberlains over the last two years) that would have been unable to appear in previously available works – and which also did not have our Necronomicon Anunnaki Bible to use as groundwork.”

~from the preface by Joshua Free to “Druids of the Necronomicon: Secrets of Elves, Dragon Kings & Scions of the Anunnaki” – available from the NecroGate.

Its sometimes interesting to watch people go from 0-to-0bsessive in relatively short time periods. Just don't burn out! Smile

I am still interested in the old version 'the book of the elven faerie'. I used this book as reference to answer many of my questions and it was an honour to have had a copy of this book and probably being one of the early readers to have read it!
I don't know what to expect from the new one, I'm just saying what the differences in context might be between the two. Although of course I am interested to read anything written by him so I will probably make a quick tour and purchase it when the time comes.
And yes I did burn out rather quickly lol but my curiosity on these topics never..

Emely, we never did release the "Book of Elven-Faerie" in print - only online and in the underground. The magickal work on it began in 1998 when I was working with a group called the "Elven Fellowship Circle of Magick" in Denver. The historical perspective resulted when I went in search of the origins of the "Druids" shortly after the new millennium began. The work was later revised in 2009 as "Druids of the Necronomicon." We had a small print run of paperbacks about six months ago and finally have integrated the work into our serial/cycle. Aside from minor corrections and revisions, it is still the underground "benchmark" to base such revivals on. It isn't meant to replace the ancient systems, simply to show the evolution of how the modern practices are directly related to this spread of lore and tradition from ancient Mesopotamia across Western Europe - indeed the presence of these beings can be felt in the foundations of many cultural systems, but it was the premise of "Where do the Druids come from" that actually led to the successful launch of the Mardukite revival.

Thank you for your questions and continued interest. Smile

now that i read this book i can see that the names to these beings is just different people having an experience at different times in different languages and how they carry the beliefs of the ancient people into this modern stuff is fascinating

the grooviness kicks in a bit more when your watching the history channel w/ history buffs and you have to start makeing certain conections for them because you have the "inside scoop" and these people think the ancients were worshiping the sun as a ball of fire rather than the visible representation of a god

Thats exactly why I didnt do well in Anthropology because it seemed like I was going to have to degrade my understanding of ancient times if I wanted to think like them - that these beings were so primitive to worship sticks and stones by somehow could do more with them constructively by themselves (e.g. Pyramids, Stonehenge) is a bit odd. - nobody seems to remember what it might have been like before the Dark Ages that we had to spend hundreds of years recovering from, so its hard to say empirically either way.
