"“The current emphasis of the Sitchin-movement has been on the planet, Nibiru. What is much more important about the work he presented is that it ties together the most ancient global mythologies and most importantly, the fact the Anunnaki are the “divine sky gods” present in each one. “Those who sought some practical means of understanding and working with the Anunnaki entities directly, particularly under a specifically Babylonian “Mardukite” paradigm, did not have to wait long after Sitchin’s contribution, as the Simon Necronomicon appeared out from the underground in 1977. Because of how information was relayed at that time, the connections between the two did not really begin to take shape until the 1980’s – and again, in the underground. the mardukite work is definitely more useful than sitchin or maybe the word practical is what i am thinking.

I would like to think of it as the next evolution from the Simonian-Sitchian-Daniken 1970's understanding of these currents, yes.
