Anunnaki Gods & Global Mythology
[Image: Year2PkgMerc1AdeptLibrarypic-300x300.jpg]

posted from the Mardukite NecroGate.

“Exploring the Anunnaki requires a re-examination of essentially the most ancient tablets on the planet – the most ancient writings – extending back to the cuneiform writing of the Sumerians. They describe a class of beings, called the Anunnaki, “coming down” from the “heavens” and seeding civilization at that time. Not only did these Anunnaki assist in the cultivation of agriculture and civic development, but they appear to have been essentially the original “superior” class of being on the planet. Humans called them “gods.”

“Since then, many different interpretations of the Anunnaki have emerged – concerning their divinity and also the religions. This group of beings, although original to Mesopotamia (Middle East), actually appear as the “Olympian” class of “Sky Gods” that appear in essentially every single ancient tradition on the pla-net. Indeed, the name first given to them was “Anunnaki” (Sumerian), but they reappear over and over again as the divine pantheon in all of the later emerging cultural religious “mythologies.” The names and classifications of these beings have simply been transferred and realized under successively more recent localized geographical cultures, affected by both their values and language.”

RE: Anunnaki Gods & Global Mythology
It just sounds hotter calling them "gods". Technically, we are all gods, but most are spiritually unrealised and choose to be sheep rather than accept godhead (connecting to the divine Source, of which the Gods/Annunaki are a part of as well) since godhead requires some cultivation and work - and a hell of a lot of honesty - to get to. Even the gods failed sometimes in that. Wink

Would it be then appropriate to apply the term "god" - at least the potential to be so - to every "sentient, free-willed" beings of the Universe?

I think the point is to separate "gods" from "mortals," those who have not yet fulfilled the title. A sentient being is one that is self-conscious to Identity or "I" and thus ego and free-will implies a freedom of worldly conditioning - I guess, I dont know too many random people that fulfill this... I could be wrong though.

You have to be able to define "god" first. Once that is set, than you can apply it to whatever it is you wish to define.

Outside this concept of a Divine Source being that has no identity in the material world - these other "gods" whether Anunnaki or the "all of us" idea - what is the definition then of a "god" ???

i think "god" would be a term applied to a being of outstanding supremisy to ourselfs. makeing the goal not to be "a god" but rather to be viewed as "a god" by others. to reach a point were we are supreme over mortals. at that point our decision would be whether we remain as one who helps mortals reach godhood or whether we strive to be the object of "importance" and desire for servitude of the ignorant. ........just my opinion

RE: Anunnaki Gods & Global Mythology
Readers of any of the few of the books that deal specifically with the natures and identities of the Anunnaki are familiar with the current of Nanna-Sin, since the lunar realm of enchantments and glamours is the first 'gate' that must be passed in order to follow the Babylonian methodology for self-honest 'ascension' or 'cleansing/spirit purging' depending on your perspective.

What is the actual question, though?
