Zecharia Sitchin, Modern Mardukite Anunnaki Pioneer, Dies October 9, 2010

This month, on October 9, 2010, Zecharia Sitchin was reported to the world as passed on. A prolific writer since the late 1970′s release of The 12th Planet, Sitchin remained a public activist toward the understanding of the Anunnaki origins of humanity and civilization for the remainder of his life. He dedicated a dozen books to the topic, many of which appeared on the “recommended reading list” of the Mardukite Ministries at its inception in 2008 (including Zecharia Sitchin’s End of Days, Lost Book of Enki and Genesis Revisited) where Sitchin was actually officially titled “Mardukite Man-of-the-Year” (2008).

While many theories and tablet transliterations presented by Zecharia Sitchin have come up against some controversy (as do most aspects of counter-culture, ufology and alternative religions), it can be unarguably said that Sitchin’s pioneering contribution to the modern (or contemporary) perception of the ancient world in an academic, spiritual and technological manner has been unparalleled – forcing many later writers who take that same approach to merely produce rehashes of his own work (and you can immediately tell these copy-cats) – it is also, from another perspective, a sign of significant impact when “so many want to be like you.” While many other writers have tried to complicate the approach or become insistent in filling half of a tome in references and citations, Sitchin’s work offered the “common man” an inside look into what would otherwise remain hidden on the surface world.

Though the work of the Mardukites has been often compared to that of Zecharia Sitchin and Simon (1970′s Necronomicon) work has been thought to independently supersede and make a practical modern Anunnaki revival tradition where none others have dared to venture – the Mardukite Chamberlains pay dear respects and honor to not only a treasured colleague, but one that made our own efforts possible, as he greatly contributed in opening the ears and eyes of the people to a reality well different then they might have otherwise had access to believe. For this reason, beyond being an innovative historian, the Nabu-Council of the Mardukite Chamberlains respectfully acknowledges Sitchin as an honorary Mardukite Gatekeeper Guardian.
