"Gates" is an amazing contribution to the modern Mardukite tradition. Awesome that it has been able to contribute to your practical work in "real life" even more!

I think that it is useful to survey and analyze all of the beliefs of those "philosophers and priests" because after having done so, I kind of began to see a pattern in all of their beliefs. If you break everything down to their most basic Archtypes and forget their names, almost all religions seem to be structured the same way. Even Catholicism, which is supposed to be monotheistic, actually has several saints which resemble and serve some of the same functions as gods in other pantheons. Finding the source of all of this would kind of be like a way in which to understand all of the rest.

True. But I must know... to what benefit is the rest having found the Source ? When the veils are known for what they are - why return to them ?

I think that after having found the source it is still important to know the rest so that you can explain to others why you practise the things that you do. Most of my friends are christians, and when questioned about my beleifs it is important to me to be able to explain to them that I have carefully examined their religion, as well as several others, and be able to give them good reasons based on what I have learned for why I choose to believe what I believe.

I fully agree it is awesome to bring people to their knees with unquestionable logic. I just did this the other day with some Jehovah Witnesses talking about the nephilim, the three angels that visit Abraham and the fact that when Cain kills Abel he goes off to become a leader of the "Nodites" and marries a cousin... These things should indicate to a rational person that there is more going on in this picture.

People will believe what they wish to, no matter how unquestionable and infallible the logic is.
